neighborhoods this summer to chat and walk with residents. Neighborhood Walks switched to a webinar format in 2020 due to the pandemic, but are back as an in-person program. Residents have an opportunity to visit with city staff, and share their unique neighborhood and emerging concerns. It's finally here! Yes, the long-awaited new Newport Way sidewalk and bike lanes are just about ready! The City is hosting a Grand Opening to celebrate the completion of this important Eastgate neighborhood improvement.
Friday, July 30 from 1 to 2 PM Location: Eastgate Park tennis courts on Newport Way (map below). You can park at the Library, but why not try out walking the new sidewalk?
