Welcome and introductions (5 minutes) Case list: Click Here For Case List Volunteer Opportunity for Financial Audit! We’re looking for two volunteers to help audit the SCA financial books and records this month. This is a short commitment—just a few hours of your time. Our Treasurer will guide you through the 2025 records and explain the process, so no prior experience is required. The annual audit must be completed by non-Board members, so all community members are welcome to participate, please email [email protected] if you are interested. Community Input Requested! The CRC has developed a draft version of the “Somerset Architectural Review & Building Guidelines.” This document is purely advisory and is intended to support homeowners and developers who are planning—or considering—remodeling or building in Somerset, particularly within divisions served by the Covenant Review Committee (CRC). We’re inviting community members to participate as early reviewers before the document is published on our website. If you’re interested in reviewing the draft and providing feedback, please email [email protected]. View Guideline Committee Update As previously reported, the recent lawsuit regarding the Third Amendment in Division 8 resulted in a judge’s order involving the CC&Rs and the CRC. The implications for the updated View Guidelines draft are currently being assessed. Additional details will be shared as they become available. Happy Year of the Fire Horse! You’re Invited! 2026 SCA Annual Membership Meeting (TODAY) When/Where: Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Forest Ridge Theatre (600 Bldg upper level) 7:00 – 8:30 PM Who: 2026 SCA Members Details are available on our website. Based on strong community interest and attendance at the 2025 Annual Membership Meeting, we’ve moved to a larger venue and allocated time on the agenda for:
Meeting documents will be posted on the website prior to the meeting for your review. 2026 SCA Dues & Proxy Mailing By now you should have received the 2026 dues statement in your mailbox. Please remember to pay your dues and submit your proxy, or plan to vote in person at the Annual Meeting. You can save a stamp by paying your dues and submitting your proxy online here. The Somerset Community Association (SCA) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization whose mission is to “preserve, foster, and promote the betterment of our beautiful neighborhood.” The SCA is funded entirely by membership dues and donations. Homeowners within the Somerset Community boundaries who pay annual dues are voting members of the association. Thank you for being an engaged and supportive Somerset neighbor.
