Join the Community Conversation on Bellevue's Comprehensive Plan 2044! The Comprehensive Plan guides Bellevue's future for the next 20 years and your input matters.
The event, hosted by BDAN (Bellevue Diversity Advantage Network) and Bellevue’s Development Department, takes place on February 8th from 5:30-8 pm at Stevenson Elementary School. The event will be free and open to the public or anyone who lives, works, learns, or visits Bellevue or who may in the future. Dinner, light presentations, information boards, and small group discussions are included in this forum. Please visit the Eventbrite page for more information. The King County Office of Emergency Management is hosting virtual training on basic disaster skills. Designed to support individuals and families who are working towards emergency preparedness. Topics covered include understanding local hazards, what to expect in an earthquake, creating your household emergency plan, building preparedness kits, and how to connect to location information sources before, during, and after an emergency. There are two opportunities to take this training. Registration is required.
Winter Weather Safety - Virtual Training Wednesday, February 7, 12-1pm. Register Cybersecurity Basics - Virtual Training Wednesday, February 21, 12-1pm. Register 300 Trees will hold Spring 2024 Tree Giveaway on March 15-16 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in South Bellevue.
For the first time since 300 Trees began distributing free trees in 2020, we are opening our program to all Eastside residents, schools, faith communities, and small businesses! Order Trees: Our goal is to distribute at least 1000 trees during this event. Each participant may request 1-3 trees using our online order form: https://300trees.org/freetrees/.

As the new year unfolds, it is time for our Somerset Community Association annual meeting, where we come together to reflect on the past year's achievements and discuss plans for the future. We will ask members to approve our annual budget and elect the new board members listed in the proxy statement. Your presence and participation contribute to the success of our community, and we invite you to attend the annual meeting. Meeting Details:
Payment of Dues: To ensure the continued success of our community initiatives, we kindly request members to remit their annual dues. Your timely contribution will go a long way in supporting our community projects and events. You should have already received the annual dues statement in your mailbox. You can pay dues through the mail or online by clicking the button below. Submission of Proxy: If you cannot attend the annual meeting in person, please submit your proxy to ensure that your voice is heard. Your proxy will allow the Board to vote on your behalf. Your proxy form was sent with the annual dues statement in the mail. You can mail your proxy form back or submit a proxy form online here. Please note, proxies are only valid if membership dues have been paid, and must be received by Jan 24, 2024 to be counted.
