What is the Somerset Community Association?
The Somerset Community Association was created over 40 years ago to "preserve, foster and promote the betterment of the area of Bellevue, Washington known as Somerset..." - in other words, to make Somerset a great place for you and your family to live, work and play!
All members are homeowners within the Somerset Community Association boundaries who pay the nominal annual membership dues. A Board of Directors is elected to manage the daily duties of the organization, many of which are carried out by volunteers serving on various committees within the Somerset community.
The Somerset Community Association is not a "Homeowner's association"; membership is voluntary and up to each homeowner.
However, the covenants of the community apply to all homeowners regardless of membership, and the Covenant Review Committee will review plans and may contact any homeowner within the SCA boundaries that is not in compliance with the community's covenants, conditions and restrictions.
