Somerset 4th of July Parade and Picnic 2022

What: Somerset 4th of July Celebration
When: 11am
Where:

• Walking Parade Start:
  Somerset Rec Club (4445 Somerset Blvd)
• Picnic and Games:
  Forest Hill Neighborhood Park (13232 SE 51st Pl)

Start gathering at 10:30am at the Somerset Rec Club. The walking parade along Somerset Drive starts at 11:00 am. The downhill route is about 0.8 miles, ending at Forest Hill Neighborhood Park.

At the park we will have free hot dogs (beef and vegetarian), chips, drinks and dessert for all, hosted by the Somerset Community Association. The Somerset Rec Club team will again run the grill!

Then enjoy fun games and challenges:

• Children and adults win prizes by participating in games and completing Bingo cards
• Pick up Bingo cards for "Know your Neighbor Bingo" at the SCA table
• The prize raffle will happen at 1:00pm!

As always, we will also have prizes for the best costume (most traditional, most original and most patriotically adorned family) and best decorated transport (bike, wagon, scooter).The Police Cruisers and Fire Truck will join us again this year!
