Dear Somerset Residents,
We wanted to bring to your attention a matter of increasing concern within our community. There have been reported incidents of car break-ins along Somerset Drive and surrounding streets recently. In light of these unfortunate events, we strongly urge all community members to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of their vehicles and belongings. Here are some essential steps you can take to safeguard your property:
Let's stand united as a community and take the necessary steps to protect our homes and vehicles. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The Fall 2023 of our Somerset Sun Newsletter is now available.
All residents should have received a copy in their mailbox. Click here for the digital edition. Do you have a budding artist at your house? We are inviting our Somerset children to share their creative talents by entering our cover contest.
The winning entry will be featured on the cover of the Fall issue of the Somerset Sun. Other entries may be included inside the same issue. (We reserve the right to use another cover should we not receive a sufficient number of appropriate submissions.) This year’s theme: What makes a good neighborhood? Guidelines:
A big Thank You to everyone who attended the 16th annual Somerset 4th of July Parade and Picnic! The weather cooperated and 600 hot dogs were served by the Somerset Community Association.
A special thank you to the Bellevue Police and Fire Departments for leading our parade again this year! Another special Thank You to our grill team: Bellevue City Councilmember Janice Zahn, City Council candidates Paul Clark and Betsi Hummer. And the Somerset Rec Club team led by president Michael Ketchum! And also Thank You to City Council candidate Mo Malakoutian for helping with the prize drawing. Thank you to all the wonderful Somerset volunteers who made this event happen. July 2023 edition of Sector Watch, a brand new newsletter, created and distributed by Bellevue Police Department.
